This position requires working knowledge of auto mechanics, medium/heavy truck mechanics, welding and fabrication, and some construction equipment and small engine repair. The incumbent is charged with the responsibility in repair and maintenance of the City’s vehicles and equipment. This position requires thorough knowledge of welding methods and procedures to safely do the job. The primary objective is to utilize periodic maintenance and inspections along with quality repairs to maximize availability and minimize the overall life cycle costs of the City’s moving equipment. May be called out in emergencies, scheduled to work nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed. Position is supervised by the Chief Mechanic or designee.

Professional and administrative position responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing the complex financial activities of the City.  The work involves varied governmental accounting and related activities requiring broad financial knowledge and a high degree of accuracy in safeguarding public funds and the City's financial condition.  Advises the City Manager and other officials of revenue and expenditure levels and assists in the preparation of the annual budget. Position requires strong supervising/managerial skills and technical writing ability. Provides the City Manager with timely and informative financial projections, operating statements and related reports.

This position installs, repairs and maintains water and sewer system components, according to City standards and regulations; ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. This position requires mechanical aptitude to exercise good independent judgment. Subject to call out in emergencies, scheduled to work nights, weekends and/or holidays on occasion as necessary. This position is supervised by the Crew Leader with ultimate oversight by the Public Works Supervisor.
