A Sanitation Collector loads/unloads solid waste/recyclables to and from sanitation vehicles.  The person in this job will be expected to safely perform manual tasks with speed and efficiency.  This person works under the daily authority of a Sanitation Operator (vehicle driver) who will assign duties needed to complete daily collection routes.  This person will be responsible for cleaning and maintenance of sanitation vehicles and dumpsters.  Job performance will be based on compliance with established guidelines, satisfactory performance of required job duties and schedules set by the Department.  This person must be capable of being insured under the City’s insurance carrier.  A person in this job will perform other duties as necessary and assigned.   $8.62 per hour starting wage plus excellent benefits.  Applications will be accepted for this position through 5:00 pm on August 30th.  EEO DFW

 Installation, repair and  maintenance of water and sewer  system components;  construction and  maintenance of  City facilities, according  to  local and  state  standards and regulations;  the ability and willingness  to work effectively and efficiently  with  minimal supervision.
